We have assumed that the verbal element V consists of the lexical verb in its base form and nothing else. But just as there specifiers of the noun, there appear to be specifiers of the verb.
These forms of to be, to have, and to do are used before the main verb. Their purpose is to change time or emphasis.

A modal verb (also modal, modal auxiliary verb, modal auxiliary) is a type of auxiliary verb that is used to indicate modality that is, likelihood, ability, permission, and obligation. In English and other Germanic languages, modal verbs are often distinguished as a class based on certain grammatical properties:

Teaching solutions: Help students to perform readings and write stories, anecdotes where make use of different auxiliaries verbs and they can identify in that moment use them; could us still use videos, music and other forms of media related with the topic. Help students by providing activities and exercises that would encourage them to think and recall what they have learned of a manner fun. Use different tools such as games, make group competence skills where measure their knowledge and are interested in learning more every day.
